Identity Definition in Design:

The unique, uniform design, visual and media assets of a personal, business or company brand that you can identify them by. Created by designers used online, in print and within digital media.

Identity is not all aspects of a personal, company or business experience but incorporates the media and visual design/assets of a personal, company or business brand.

Logo design, colour palette, typography and packaging design form essential parts of a brands identity. Created using various types of technologies and media it is not strictly used in print but can be 3d, animated, include audio and incorporate modern technologies as they become available.
